What is the student-teacher ratio?
The teacher-student ratio at Immaculate Conception is only 1 to 15. That is one of the lowest in the area – most public school classrooms have 30 students or more.
Who may enroll at Immaculate Conception School?
Immaculate Conception School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and school programs.
Students at Immaculate Conception Catholic School may be Catholic or Non-Catholic. Children of other faiths will be required to participate in activities pertaining to faith development.
What time is school in session?
School begins at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving before 7:30 a.m. will have to sign in at Before School Care. The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. Students not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be escorted to the After School Program. The after-school program runs until 5:45 p.m.
Does the school serve hot lunch?
Lunch is served every full day of school. The food is prepared on site and is served hot. The cost is $3.00 each day. Lunch tickets must be purchased in advance, in groups of 22 for $66.00, and can be purchased through the church office. Free and reduced lunches are available for those who meet the guidelines.
How old does my child have to be to attend school?
Students entering must meet the following age requirements:
- PreK 3 – Child must be 3 by September 1
- PreK 4 – Child must be 4 by September 1
- Kindergarten – Child must be 5 by September 1
- 1st Grade – Child must be 6 by September 1
How is Immaculate Conception School accredited?
I.C. is fully accredited by ANSAA, Arkansas Nonpublic School Accrediting Association, which is affiliated with the national Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations, which is approved by the United States Office of Education and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. I.C. is also a member of the NCEA (National Catholic Education Association).
Do students have to wear a uniform?

What does it mean to be a parishioner?
Parishioner status, for the sake of tuition rates, is established for families who have fulfilled the following requirements: Official registration in I.C. Parish and parish contribution statements confirming payments for the annual financial committee of a minimum of $750 for calendar year 2010.
What are the qualifications of the teachers?
All teachers possess an Arkansas Teaching Certificate or are enrolled in a state approved program to obatin their state certification. Each teacher also meets or exceeds standards put forth by ANSAA for their specified area.
