Religious Education at Immaculate Conception School is an integral part of the growth and development of the total student. All grades use the Faith and Life religion series by Ignatius Press, approved by the Diocese, as the main textbook. All grades utilize supplementary materials to further enhance the individual’s spiritual formation.

We enrich the spirituality of students in a number of ways. All students and staff share in a weekly celebration of Holy Sacrifice at Mass. In addition, each grade attends a second mass during the week. Students in 3rd through 8th grades participate in the Liturgy of the Mass in a number of ways, including acting as altar servers, gift bearers, ushers, cantors, and lectors. The Seraphim children's choir (grades 3-5) and the junior high choir (grades 6-8) lead the singing at Mass. We are also blessed with visits to our classrooms by our parish priests twice monthly.

We offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation on a weekly basis to students in the 2nd through 8th grades. Each week students from different grade levels have their confessions heard. In addition, the Rosary is recited by the entire school weekly during the month of October with a Living Rosary at the end of the month by the Kindergarten and 1st grade students. The Stations of the Cross are prayed weekly during Lent. Special liturgies are also celebrated for All Saints Day with a procession of saints, Ash Wednesday with distribution of ashes, the feast of St. Blaise with the blessing of throats, Thanksgiving, the feast of the Immaculate Conception,  and the 8th grade graduation mass and “Pass It On” ceremony. Special celebrations include performances by the 2nd grade handbell choir, Seraphim children's choir, and junior high choir.
