What is the student-teacher ratio?

The teacher-student ratio at Immaculate Conception is approximately 1 to 15. 

Who may enroll at Immaculate Conception School?

Immaculate Conception School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and school programs.

Students at Immaculate Conception Catholic School may be Catholic or Non-Catholic. Children of other faiths will be required to participate in activities pertaining to faith development.

What time is school in session?

School begins at 7:50 a.m. Students arriving before 7:15 a.m. will be unsupervised, please wait until the teacher on duty opens the gym or classroom doors. The school day ends at 3:10 p.m. Students not picked up by 3:25 p.m. will be escorted to the After School Program.

Does the school serve hot lunch?

Lunch is available for purchase through the catering company, Bella's Kitchen. We also offer slices of pizza and chicken strips for purchase during the week as a fundraiser for the school. Please note ordering for both these programs has to be done ahead of time.

How old does my child have to be to attend school?

Students entering must meet the following age requirements:

PreK 3Child must be 3 by August 1
PreK4Child must be 4 by August 1
KindergartenChild must be 5 by August 1
1st GradeChild must be 6 by August 1
 
How is Immaculate Conception School accredited?

IC is fully accredited by ANSAA,  Arkansas Nonpublic School Accrediting Association, which is affiliated with the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations, which is approved by the United States Office of Education and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. I.C. is also a member of the NCEA (National Catholic Education Association).

Do students have to wear a uniform?

Yes, all students, Pre-K through 8th grade, must wear a uniform. Click here to see the IC Uniform/Dress Code.

How much does Immaculate Conception Catholic School cost?

What are the qualifications of the teachers?

All teachers possess an Arkansas Teaching Certificate or are enrolled in a state-approved  program to obtain their state certification. Each teacher also meets or exceeds standards put forth by ANSAA for their specified area.

Where and when may I get an Enrollment Application?

Applications are available online at Create an Account. There is a $50.00 non-refundable application fee per applicant. The school office is open between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm on most school days, or you may email our Registrar if you have any questions.
