IC School aims to be a Purple Star School.
The Arkansas Purple Star School Award for military-friendly schools recognizes schools that show a major commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces. Purple Star awardees receive a special Purple Star recognition to display in their building and are recognized on the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Elementary and Secondary Education website.
Family Engagement Plan
IC School is home to many military families due to our close proximity to Little Rock Air Force Base and Camp Robinson. We understand the unique challenges related to military transitions and parental deployments.
We will provide military families links to resources on our dedicated webpage. We will also provide them opportunities for volunteering and school family activities.
